Project diffusion- Long live artificial turf!

Artificial turf can enjoy multiple lives, thanks to its composing materials being recyclable and reusable. This is the idea behind ECOTURF, an European project aiming at the development of eco-innovation techniques for the improvement of the sustainability of artificial turf fields once their useful life is over. This new research, a joint effort by Spanish company Poligras and the Biomechanics Institute of Valencia (IBV), will serve to strengthen the ecological value of synthetic surfaces and attain a longer useful life, as well as the quality of its properties. These are the new challenges for a product that keeps making inroads in Europe.
